Some people seriously need to stop with the fucking LABELS. Another thing I hate are those fucking plagiarizers. Go to hell bitches. :D Don't worry, I'll meet you there to torture you more. >:P I very much loathe stuck-up whores and guys. Seriously, who needs them? :DD So, If you're not one of those mentioned, let's proceed shall we? My name is LMP. :) LittleMissPatty. Pat. Patty. Trish. Patricia. Mae. Take A Pick. I think. Well, they help me believe that Unicorns don't exist only Vampires and Demons. :D Lastly, I love to break the rules. If you don't like breaking them, you suck ass. :D That is all. Deadly Little Secrets by Laurie-Faria Stolarz

Author's Summary:

Some secrets shouldn't be kept...

Up until three months ago, everything in sixteen-year-old Camelia's life had been fairly ordinary: decent grades; an okay relationship with her parents; and a pretty cool part-time job at the art studio downtown. But when Ben, the mysterious new guy, starts junior year at her high school, Camelia's life becomes anything but ordinary.

Rumored to be somehow responsible for his ex-girlfriend's accidental death, Ben is immediately ostracized by everyone on campus. Except for Camelia. She's reluctant to believe the rumors, even when her friends try to convince her otherwise. She's inexplicably drawn to Ben...and to his touch. But soon, Camelia is receiving eerie phone calls and strange packages with threatening notes. Ben insists she is in danger, and that he can help--but can he be trusted? She knows he's hiding something... but he's not the only one with a secret.

My Review:

I'd give it a 3 out of 5

The novel title is quite catchy.

I've bought this book as a birthday present to myself last January. Read it in one day. First off, I love Romance/Thriller/Horror/Supernatural/Action/Humor novels. So far, this one was good. Not the "OMG. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME" but it's an "okay. it's cool." book. There are just some parts that I can't help but question. Like for one, Camelia's parents never found out about the stalking thing until she was kidnapped by her psycho ex. Which is very weird. I mean, it's unreal. Parents would know something is wrong when their child is acting that way.

That aside, I love the romance and thriller part of it. You couldn't really decide who was her stranged stalker. My suspicions kept on jumping. Ben's weird ability is cool and new too. Since most stories like that tend to make them either magical or a vampire of some sort. It's pretty cool. Ending sucked though. It ended just like that. Like it was rushed and the deadline is a day away. It was okay-good all in all. The suspense was what made it good. I'd like to read the 2nd part because I don't want to leave a series just like that. So I'll be buying it. Though the thrill of buying new books is at my system, I can't help but feel excited over the sequel. It just means, new book. :) another add to my library. HA!

The second installment of The Touch Series comes out this November. Deadly Little Lies. Here's the cover picture and the author's summary. Knock yourself out.

Author's Summary:

Last fall, sixteen-year-old Camelia fell for Ben, the mysterious new boy at school who turned out to have a very mysterious gift--pyschometry, the ability to sense the future through touch. But just as Camelia and Ben's romance began to heat up, he abruptly left town. Brokenhearted, Camelia has spent the last few months studying everything she can about psychometry, and experiencing her own strange brushes with premonition. Camelia wonders if Ben's abilities have somehow rubbed off on her. Can the power of psychometry be transferred?

Even once Ben returns to school, Camelia can't get close enough to share her secret with him. Despite the romantic tension between them, Ben remains aloof, avoiding contact. Then when an unexpected kiss leads to a frightening argument, Camelia makes the painful decision to let Ben go and move on. Alex, the hot new guy at Knead, seems good for her in ways Ben wasn't. Alex is easy-going, and seems to really care about her.

But when Camelia and Alex start dating, a surprising love triangle results. A chilling sequence of events upturns secrets from Ben's past--and Alex's. Someone is lying, and it's up to Camelia to figure out whom-before it's too late.

Comes out in Hardback on November 2009
