Step-Up 1, Step Up 2: The Streets and I

Okay. Recently, I've been obsessing with this movie. :)) I just finished the whole movie last Sunday which was lazy of me since I watched the first part last year but decided to procrastinate with it. :)) (yes. yes. call me lazy. idc. :P) So when I finished it last Sunday, I was all giddy and now I want to dance hip-hop again. :)) I want to be briana-like at dancing.


I got addicted to the first installment of the movie which was very romantic and a fun movie with Channing Tatum as Tyler Gage and Jenna Dewan-Tatum as Nora Clark (Congrats to them They just recently got married much to my utmost glee. Step Up brings love doesn't it not?). The movie was released last 2006 and since then, they started dating and just recently tied the knot. (picture below of Jenna's rock and some of their pictures)

I was really ecstatic about that news and I've got you pictures too. Now this is something new. :>

So moving along and letting the newly weds have their time, I must now prattle on about it's sequel.


Step-Up 2: The streets which was released 2 years prior to the first movie. (February 14, 2008 to be exact was the premiere of the said movie which earned a spanking $28 M.)

The story takes place in Baltimore, Maryland on to where we follow a rebellious hip-hop dancer named Andie West (Briana Evigan) who lands a spot in MSA with the help of Tyler Gage (Guest Star Channing Tatum from Step Up 1) who leaves Andie to audition by herself and go on tour with Nora. (Jenna Dewan) Chase Collins (Robert Hoffman) finds interest in Andie much to the utmost displeasure of his ex-girlfriend Sophie (Cassie Ventua) who was said to be a triple threat. With Andie focusing on MSA and being always late on her crew practice-401- she gets kicked out of the crew unto which Chase helped her create her own crew. They then decided to recruit students who were more than what they percieve. They battle it out through the streets against 401 and win both their respect and each other's hearts. :D

I must say that they have awesome chemistry. Too bad they are both in different relationships. But I want them to get together so bad. :| (pictures below)

I just hope that in the 3rd installment, all 4 of them would be guesting there and doing a dance routine. :D (Jon Chu, please?)

BTW. before I forget, did I mention that Cassie is half filipina? :D She is. Her father is of Filipino Blood while her mother is Latina. Filipinas are really invading Hollywood. :D
